Justin Heo

Justin Heo's work experience includes being a Vice President and Risk Management Representative for the North Texas ISSA UTD Student Subchapter, a Graduate Student in MS Cybersecurity at The University of Texas at Dallas, a Security and Compliance Intern at T-Mobile, a Cybersecurity Extern at Schellman, a Mentee at Critical Start, and a FRI Functional Genomics Stream Mentor at The University of Texas at Austin.

Justin Heo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed between 2016 and 2020. Justin is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security, Technology and Policy at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they are expected to graduate between 2022 and 2024. Additionally, Justin has obtained several certifications including Application Security in DevSecOps and Introduction to Identity and Access Management from LinkedIn, (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity from (ISC)², and Introduction to Power BI from DataCamp.
