Matt Carroll's work experience begins in 2003 with the Tribune Company, where they worked as a Sales Executive for the Chicago Tribune and RedEye. Matt then transitioned to a role as Vice President at Modern Luxury Media from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Head of Sales for the West Coast at Gilt City, where they were responsible for expansion, strategy, and sales in cities such as Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Houston. From 2011 to 2014, Matt Carroll served as the SVP and Group Publisher at Modern Luxury. In 2014, they joined Time Inc. as the Vice President, Head of Sales and Marketing for Travel + Leisure and Wallpaper* US, overseeing revenue generation across various channels. Matt then moved on to Robb Report Media in 2016 as the SVP, Publisher, and Head of Digital, where they collaborated with the CEO and Rockbridge Growth Equity to implement a new digital strategy and achieve a revenue growth of over 50%.
