Joanne Clague

Joanne Clague is an accomplished Chief Operating Officer at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine since April 2024, with a robust history in various leadership roles. Previous positions include Area Director at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Executive Committee Member for the Association of Heads of University Administration. Joanne has also served as a Council Member for the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Director at QUBIS Ltd, and Trustee for the Queen's University Belfast Foundation. A highly experienced professional, Joanne held the title of Registrar and Chief Operating Officer at Queen's University Belfast and Director of Operations at The University of Manchester. Additional experience includes roles at Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool and is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) certified by the ICAEW.
