Erik Brekke

Erik Brekke, M.Ed., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Services and Assistant Principal at Willowbrook School within the Northbrook/Glenview School District #30, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Erik worked as a School Principal at NSSEO from July 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included facilitating IEP meetings, overseeing the school budget, and leading staff professional development. Erik's experience also encompasses roles as a Cross Country Coach and Assistant Lacrosse Coach in Glenview/Northbrook District 30 and an educator specializing in special education at Maple School within the Northern Suburban Special Education District. Erik earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago and holds additional degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis, alongside a Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement and a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
