Michelle Butler is an experienced healthcare executive with a strong background in clinical governance, quality, risk management, and performance improvement. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Clinical Governance, Aged Care and Education & Research at Northeast Health Wangaratta since December 2023, Michelle previously held significant roles, including Director of Quality, Risk and Performance at NCN Health, where responsibilities encompassed patient safety, clinical audits, and accreditation programs. Michelle's experience also includes leadership positions at Benalla Health, focusing on operational performance and clinical governance. Michelle's educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Health Services Administration from Latrobe University and a Bachelor of Dental Therapy from the Dental Therapy School Victoria. Michelle chairs the Hume Region Quality & Safety Managers Forum and has a long-standing commitment to innovation, consumer experience, and legislative compliance in healthcare settings.
