Andrew Hopkins

Andrew Hopkins currently serves as a teacher at Northeastern Catholic District School Board since August 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Team Assistant at Home and Community Care Support Services North East from July 2015 to August 2023 and as a Supervised Access Worker at Northeastern Ontario Family and Child Services between November 2012 and May 2016, overseeing child and family visits. Andrew has experience as a freelance writer and journalist with Northern News/timminstoday.com from September 2012 to December 2015, and previously worked as an occasional teacher at Northeastern Catholic District School Board from November 2012 to November 2015. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, along with an Honours Diploma in Journalism from Canadore College.
