Gene Parris

Gene Parris is a legal professional with significant experience in public defense, currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit since February 2018. Previously, Parris held the same position at the Paulding Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office from November 2016 to December 2017. Gene Parris has also contributed to the Georgia Bar from August 2014 to November 2016, while a background as a professional military education instructor in the United States Air Force adds to Parris's diverse skill set. Gene Parris earned a Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where participation in the Honors Program in Criminal Justice marked academic achievements, following undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1994 to 1997.
