Katie Strayhorn has extensive experience in victim advocacy and education, currently serving as a Victim Advocate for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit since March 1999. Prior to this role, Katie worked in the Family Relations Program, Inc. from 1997 to 1999, where responsibilities included managing public education programs on personal body safety for K-12 students, as well as developing presentations for college students, foster parents, and law enforcement on issues related to sexual abuse. Earlier experience includes serving as a Children's Program Coordinator at Circle of Hope from 1996 to 1997. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Jacksonville State University, completed in 1996, and graduated from the National Victims Assistance Academy in 1998.
