Rachel Heaton

Rachel Heaton has a diversified work experience in the field of internal audit. Rachel started their career as a Trainee Internal Auditor at Veritau in 2010 and worked there until 2012. Rachel then joined Northern Gas Networks in 2013 as an Internal Auditor and later became a Senior Internal Auditor from May 2015 to November 2016. Rachel transitioned to Asda in 2016 as an Internal Audit Manager and worked there until November 2018. Rachel returned to Northern Gas Networks in 2019 and currently holds the position of Head Of Internal Audit.

Rachel Heaton's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2016, they attended the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, where they obtained an IIA Advanced Diploma in CMIIA, specializing in Internal Audit.

Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they also attended the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and earned an IIA Diploma in PIIA, also specializing in Internal Audit.

Earlier in their academic journey, from 2006 to 2010, Rachel studied at the University of York, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pure Mathematics.

Before attending the University of York, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (MMath) from the University of Leicester, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
