Amarilys Ducharme

Amarilys Ducharme has developed a diverse career with extensive experience in healthcare and community services. Currently serving as a Clinical Information System Developer and Regional Trainer for IT CIS Education at Northern Health - BC since October 2019, Amarilys previously worked as a Residential Care Worker at AiMHi Community Living from September 2014 to April 2020, and as a Research Study Assistant at the UBC School of Nursing from September 2018 to February 2020. Leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Internal Affairs for the UNBC Northern Undergraduate Student Society from April 2013 to April 2015. Early career roles include Timberwolves Athletics Animator at UNBC and Fisheries Technician with Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Amarilys has supervised, trained, and managed teams, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from UNBC and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Health.
