Hossain Qorbani

Hossain Qorbani is a seasoned financial planning and budgeting professional currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Northern Health - BC since April 2019, providing advisory support to over 100 cost centers across diverse healthcare sectors. Previously, Hossain held roles as a Business Partner and Operations Analyst at Richmond Steel Recycling, focusing on financial and operational data analysis. Hossain began a career in finance as an Investment Analyst for the O’Neill Student Investment Fund and gained consulting experience leading a rebranding project for a nonprofit organization during studies at Willamette University. Hossain also has extensive management experience as the Hotel Manager at SINA Hotel & Restaurant and academic experience as a Chemistry Lab Assistant at The American University of Afghanistan, complemented by internships in finance analysis. Hossain holds an MBA in Finance from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the American University of Afghanistan.
