Matthew Mattox

Matthew Mattox currently serves as the Director of the Huskie Academic Success Center at Northern Illinois University, responsible for developing the mission and vision for centralized learning services. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Associate Director of Academic Support at Louisiana State University, managing Supplemental Instruction, tutoring services, and a large team of student staff. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as Assistant Director of Academic Support at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Graduate Assistant in Student Activities at Louisiana State University. Matthew's career in higher education began as a Residence Life Coordinator at The University of Southern Mississippi and a Residence Hall Director at Ohio Dominican University. Matthew Mattox holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Master of Education in College Student Counseling from The University of Southern Mississippi, and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Ohio University.
