Robert D McLean

Robert D McLean is a seasoned professional in civil engineering and project management with extensive experience in the water and wastewater sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Capital Project Manager and Cost Manager at Northern Ireland Water since November 2018, Robert oversees capital expenditure management and cost control within the AD Capital Programme Management Office. Prior to this role, Robert contributed as Project Manager at NI Water from September 2013 to November 2018, leading initiatives in sewer maintenance and development projects across Northern Ireland. Robert's career began at AECOM, where a 15-year tenure as Senior Engineer focused on the design and management of various infrastructure projects. Academically, Robert holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) Hons in Construction Engineering & Management from Ulster University, a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering from London South Bank University, and a Higher National Diploma in Construction Engineering & Management from the North East Institute of Further & Higher Education.
