Behrooz Rahimi, Ph.D., P.Eng, is a seasoned geotechnical engineer currently serving as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Northern Star Resources Limited since April 2022. With a solid background in geotechnical engineering, Behrooz has previously held positions at 29Metals, Evolution Mining, and Northern Star Resources Limited, reflecting a comprehensive range of experience in the mining sector. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Mining - Geotechnical Engineering from Curtin University and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic and Daneshgahe Shahid Bahonar-e-Kerman, respectively.
