Khalid Ahmed

Khalid Ahmed is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in digital asset solutions and architecture. Currently serving as Sr. Manager/Principal Architect for Digital Asset & Gen AI Solutions at Northern Trust since January 2024, Khalid has previously held the position of Vice-President/Solution Architecture Lead at State Street, focusing on the development of secure cloud-based digital asset platforms and utilizing data science to enhance blockchain transaction analysis. Khalid's prior roles at Northern Trust Corporation included Principal Solutions Architect & Manager in the Digital Asset Innovation group, where oversight of architecture, development, and cloud infrastructure was integral to business goals. Khalid also served as SOA Middleware Architect, designing enterprise services that generated significant cost savings. Earlier career highlights include Lead Applications Developer at JP Morgan Chase and Lead Java Developer at Hewitt Associates. Khalid's educational background includes an Applied Data Science Program from MIT Professional Education and a Master’s degree in Distributed Systems Programming from DePaul University.
