Brian K.

Brian K. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brian started their career as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where they performed financial audits for manufacturing and healthcare clients. Brian then moved on to become a Senior Staff Accountant at Value Rx, where they handled financial consolidation and developed expense tracking reports.

In 1999, Brian joined Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, initially as a Senior Financial Analyst. Brian later served as a Sales Finance Manager, Assistant Controller, and Controller, where they were responsible for financial statement preparation, budgeting, and managing the control environment. As the Controller, they also supervised the Finance, Purchasing, and Facility departments.

From 2013 to 2015, Brian worked at McLaren Medical Group as the Senior Director of Finance. In this role, they oversaw finance, accounting, physician billing, medical coding, compliance and audit, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Brian was responsible for analyzing income, expenditures, and capital asset values, as well as maintaining an accounting system and ensuring accurate financial records.

Brian then transitioned to being the Owner and Operator of Apple Spice Box Lunch & Catering Co from 2016 to 2019.

Most recently, starting in 2020, Brian has been working as the Director of Finance at Capital Steel & Wire, and they are currently the Chief Financial Officer at NorthGate.

Brian K. earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Michigan, graduating in 1993. Brian later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Administration at the same institution, completing their studies in 2001.
