Zoë Foss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2008, they worked as a Public Relations Assistant/Intern at The Home for Little Wanderers, where they assisted in developing media lists and drafting press releases. From 2009 to 2011, at New World Bistro Bar, they served as an Administrative Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing various tasks such as bookkeeping, HR, and customer relationship management. Zoë then joined Lick-Wilmerding High School as an Administrative Assistant for Alumni and Development from 2011 to 2014, before transitioning to the role of Development Associate, where they planned and executed events and maintained relationships with major donors. In 2015, they joined General Assembly as a Web Development Immersive Student, building full-stack web applications and gaining expertise in computer science principles. Additionally, they worked as a Developer in Residence and Teaching Assistant, supporting students and assisting the instructional team. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Earnest Inc., initially as an Engineer Intern - Web Platforms, then as a Software Engineer, where they built web-based internal tools for processing loan applications. In 2019, they were promoted to Software Engineering Manager, responsible for improving loan processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Manager at NorthOne, starting in August 2021. Zoë's work experience showcases their technical skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in project management.
Zoë Foss has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Boston University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Public Relations. In 2010, they took Public Administration courses at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. Prior to their time at college, they earned their high school diploma from Emma Willard School from 2001 to 2005. In 2015, Zoë attended General Assembly and completed a Web Development Immersive course. Additionally, in 2014, they took Visual Design courses at City College of San Francisco.
