Andy Bertram

Andy Bertram is currently the VP of Commercial Lines, Risk Advisor, and Partner at North Risk Partners. Andy has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in commercial lines.

Andy started their career in 2007 as a Business Account Underwriter at Federated Insurance. In this role, they were responsible for managing over 400 commercial accounts in NJ and eastern PA. Andy was also responsible for negotiating new business and renewal premiums, and building relationships with current and prospective customers. In 2012, they left Federated Insurance to join West Bend Mutual Insurance as a Commercial Lines Field Underwriter. In this role, they participated in joint sales calls, quote proposals, and on-site surveys. Andy also provided localized and personalized agency service visits. In May 2013, they left West Bend Mutual Insurance to join North Risk Partners.

At North Risk Partners, Andy is responsible for quoting and maintaining a book of business that is generalist in nature, with a few niche markets such as manufacturing, woodworking, wholesale/retail, restaurants, auto service & repair, lessors risks, and contractors. Andy is also responsible for policy reviews and audits, and continually developing agency and producer relationships through regular visits and interaction.

Andy Bertram's educational career includes a BA in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University and high school from St. Mary's Springs High School.
