Joshua Estrada

Joshua Estrada is an experienced team lead and researcher with a strong background in artificial intelligence and software development. Currently serving as the Object/Image Recognition Team Lead for the SUAS Competition and as part of the Ground Station and Mission Control Software Team for CubeSTEP, Joshua has previously held roles at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, specializing in AI and cybersecurity research. Joshua has developed innovative solutions for autonomous navigation and ground vehicle control systems while also leading initiatives in mentoring and technical development as President of CPP SEA. In addition, Joshua has conducted advanced research in adversarial machine learning, contributing to projects that enhance real-time object detection and cybersecurity measures against malicious activities. Joshua is currently pursuing a degree at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, following participation in the CodePath Technical Interview Prep program.
