James Patrick Flynn

James Patrick Flynn is a Senior Principal Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman, with a career that includes significant experience in mechanical engineering and leadership roles in the unmanned systems sector. Prior to this, James held the position of Mechanical Engineer III at Textron Systems, contributing to the design and development of unmanned aerial vehicles. James's previous experience includes roles at AAI Corporation and Husqvarna, where skills in design engineering and finite element analysis were honed. James holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Academic foundations were established at Spring Valley High School, graduating from the Math and Science Magnet Program.
