George Britton-Read has an extensive work experience portfolio. George started their career as a Graduate Engineer at CB&I in 2013, where they worked on the Mariner PULQ project. George then joined CBRE | Romonet as a Senior Customer Engineer, where they modeled operational efficiency of data centers and carried out TCO analysis for upgrades. George later became the Head of Customer Engineering at the same company, leading a team of analytical engineers and providing technical support in the sales process. In 2018, they joined Domo, Inc. as a Senior Solution Consultant, delivering presentations, product demos, and training days for EMEA clients. Currently, they are working at Northshore, where they hold the roles of UK Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, specializing in energy and cost efficiency, capacity optimization, and data analytics for data centers. Additionally, George is an active member of More Trees for Bath and North East Somerset, serving as their Treasurer.
George Britton-Read has a diverse education history. George began their academic journey at Oswestry School from 1993 to 2008, during which they obtained A-Levels and GCSEs in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology.
In 2009, they enrolled at Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. George completed this program in 2012.
