Kate Joder

Kate Joder has 8 years of professional experience in software engineering. Kate began their career in 2012 as a Student Intern at BIT Systems, where they designed and developed a suite of custom data visualization graphs for a mature intelligence-collaborations system using D3.js and web technologies. Kate then served in a number of capacities and roles as a Linux/Java software engineer over 6 years of employment on three separate development efforts with BIT Systems. As a front-end and full stack developer, they produced a new user interface for a mature back end baseline using Angular.js, also writing REST services integrating with PSQL databases and Apache SOLR. In 2021, they joined Northstrat Incorporated as a Software Engineer.

Kate Joder attended the University of Virginia from 2009 to 2013, where they earned two Bachelor's degrees, one in Computer Science and one in Cognitive Science.
