Matt Williams

Matt Williams has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Matt is currently the Chief Financial Officer at NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) since September 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Non Executive Director at Blackpool Airport Operations Limited starting in June 2022. From November 2020 to September 2023, they worked as the Finance Director at Northern. Before that, they held the position of Finance Director at Manchester Airport from April 2015 to October 2020, and at London Stansted Airport from May 2013 to April 2015. Matt also has experience as a Business Owner at FD Capital Partners from July 2010 to July 2013. Matt had earlier roles at United Utilities, including Finance Director for UUOS from October 2009 to June 2010, and Finance Director at Four Delivery Ltd from October 2006 to September 2009. Matt Williams completed their education at The University of Manchester from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BA in Economics. Prior to that, they attended QEGS, Blackburn from 1986 to 1993, focusing on A-Levels and GCSEs. In addition to their formal education, Matt has also obtained the Oxford Private Markets Investments Programme certification from the University of Oxford, though the specifics of its completion date are not provided.
