Avenir Kobetski

Avenir Kobetski is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in software development and research. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Northvolt since September 2020, Avenir previously held the position of Consultant at Sigma Technology Consulting AB from May 2018 to September 2020. Avenir's research expertise spans systems of systems (SoS) from a Senior Researcher role at RISE SICS between September 2011 and May 2018. Earlier experience includes Development Engineer at Scania, focusing on control logic for engine control units from October 2008 to August 2011. Avenir earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, where the research on scheduling and verification of discrete event systems was recognized with the ABB Alde Nilsson award. Avenir also holds a Civilingenjörsexamen and M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
