Thomas Ellert

Thomas Ellert has extensive work experience in the field of quality operations. Thomas currently holds the position of Senior Director Quality Operations at Northvolt since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tesla as the Manager Vehicle Quality from February 2021 to December 2022. Thomas also worked at Webasto, where they held the role of Head of Quality from February 2018 to January 2021, and various Quality Engineering and Team Leader positions from August 2012 to January 2018.

Thomas Ellert has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued an International Executive MBA (IEMBA HSG) in General Management and Economics at the University of St.Gallen. In 2019, Thomas had the opportunity to study abroad as part of their MBA program at Tsinghua University, Esade, and the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business.
