Joe Wszolek has a varied and extensive work experience in the real estate industry and related fields. Joe began their career as a Production Manager and Acting Plant Manager at Ball from 1985 to 1989. Joe then became a Broker Associate at McCOLLY REALTORS® - BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS from 1988 to 1992. After that, they worked as an Appraiser Associate at BOCHNOWSKI APPRAISAL COMPANY from 1990 to 2001. Joe also founded and served as the President of AppraiserJoe.com from 1992 to 2014. In 2004, they held the position of Council Member at the Town of Highland, Highland, IN, and in 2006, they briefly served as Council President. From 2011 to 2014, they were the President of the Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals (PTABOA), and they also became involved in the real estate association industry. Joe served as the Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee and the President-Elect at the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS®, and later became the Chief Operating Officer. Joe then moved on to become the Chief Operating Officer at the Northwest Indiana REALTORS® Association in 2014. Additionally, they served as a Member of the Human Subjects Research Institutional Review Board at Indiana University Northwest from 2006 to 2015.
Joe Wszolek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Supervision/Management from Purdue University in 1976. Joe also received an Associate degree in Applied Science - Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 1974. In 1985, they completed their Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Northwest. Additionally, they completed the GRI program at the REALTOR® Institute in 2000 and took part in Leadership Northwest Indiana (LNI) in 2004-2005.
