Shawn Finney

Shawn Finney is an experienced educator and leader with a diverse background in teaching, ministry, and coaching. Currently serving as an English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Northwest ISD since August 2022, Shawn also directs ministry to men and families at LifePoint Fellowship Church. As an Independent Certified Success Coach, Speaker, and Trainer with The Maxwell Leadership Team since 2015, Shawn promotes personal and professional development using John Maxwell's materials. Previous roles include Sales Manager at Dimensional Pro Construction, Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Justin, TX, Minister to Adults at Woodridge Baptist Church, and Minister of Youth & Recreation at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University.
