Doug King has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and healthcare. Doug started their career in 2006 as an Application Engineer at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Doug later served as the Manager of Clinical Infrastructure before moving on to become the Director of Information Systems at Northwestern Medicine in 2011. In 2016, they joined Northwestern Memorial Healthcare as the Vice President of Information Services for Applications. Doug then returned to Northwestern Medicine in 2017 as the Vice President of Information Services for Applications and Technology Operations. Since 2019, Doug King has held leadership positions at both Northwestern Medicine and Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, including roles such as Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Officer.
Doug King completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Eastern Illinois University from 1998 to 2002. Doug then pursued their MBA in Healthcare Administration from Benedictine University from 2007 to 2010.
