Ali Borazjani

Ali Borazjani, MD PhD, currently serves as a Resident Physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women's Hospital since June 2021. As co-founder and Medical Advisor at COSM Medical Corp. since October 2018, Ali guides the scientific strategy for the development of customized vaginal devices. In 2009, Ali founded Global Innovations for Reproductive Health & Life, focusing on reducing reproductive health disparities in low-resource settings. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University (2017-2021), a PhD in Applied Biomedical Engineering from Cleveland Clinic/Cleveland State University (2011-2015), and dual Bachelor's degrees in Bioengineering and Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University (2006-2011). Prior research experiences include serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Innometrix and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cleveland Clinic, with a focus on connective tissue research in relation to women's health.
