Elizabeth Lockhart has a diverse work experience in the field of music education. Elizabeth currently works as the Director of Bands at Norwalk Public Schools, specifically at Naramake Elementary School and Wolfpit Integrated Arts Elementary School. Elizabeth is responsible for teaching band and introductory recorder lessons, as well as updating the band curriculum. Prior to this, they were a private music instructor, teaching various instruments. Elizabeth also worked as a Steel Drum Director and Instrumental Music Teacher at Brandywine School District and held the position of Private Instructor at Accent Music, Inc. Throughout their career, they have also served as a Band Director, Chorus Teacher, and Steel Drum Teacher at Christina School District. Elizabeth's work experience spans over several years, showcasing their expertise and dedication in music education.
Elizabeth Lockhart attended Temple University from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Music Teacher Education. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education (BMAS) at the University of Delaware. Elizabeth also obtained certification in Career Readiness Mentor Training from Mentor Collective in September 2023.
