Lauren Stern

Lauren Stern (Singleton-Meyers) is an experienced Data Manager in the climate and environment sector with a strong background in finance and grant management. Currently, Lauren leads carbon emissions monitoring and reporting for the Norwegian Refugee Council, overseeing data collection for multiple GHG categories across 46 countries. Previous roles include consultant positions and finance management at Acumen and the Institute of International Education, where Lauren enhanced operational efficiencies and managed extensive grant portfolios. Lauren's experience extends to various educational and nonprofit organizations, including Success Academy Charter Schools and the Peace Corps, showcasing a diverse skill set in data management, financial operations, and project implementation. Lauren holds a Master’s degree in International Education from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
