John Hale

John joined NEP in 1998 bringing more than 20 years of CEO experience at a variety of companies, as well as international business, M&A, company operations, and financing experience. As an operating partner, John helps source and evaluate investment opportunities and plays an active role in strategic planning, business growth, and corporate governance for NEP portfolio companies.

John previously served as chairman at CVI Melles Griot, a former NEP portfolio company, and he currently serves as chairman at Minnesota Rubber & Plastics. Throughout his career prior to NEP, John held a variety of executive leadership roles at Honeywell, Datapoint, Inforex, Intelogic Trace, Fibronics, and Telex.
