Penny Fitzpatrick

Associate Director, Quality Assurance at Norwich Pharma Services

Penny Fitzpatrick has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Penny started their career as a Science Laboratory Technician at Herkimer County Community College in 1980 and subsequently worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Oneida City Hospital. Penny then joined P&G Pharmaceuticals in 1981 as a Senior Research Associate in the Anti-Infective and Respiratory Business division. In 1992, they transitioned to the role of Associate Scientist in Bioanalytical Chemistry/Metabolism at Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals. Penny continued their tenure at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Scientist in QA Microbiology from 1997 to 2004. Penny then joined Norwich Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2004 as a Cleaning Validation Manager and subsequently held various roles including Microbiology Department Manager in Quality Control and Operations Department Manager in Quality Assurance. In 2010, they became a Senior Project Manager in Product Development and Technical Services at NPI Norwich Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Currently, Penny Fitzpatrick is working as Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Norwich Pharma Services since 2019. Overall, they have strong expertise in quality assurance, operations management, and project coordination in the pharmaceutical industry.

Penny Fitzpatrick has obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville.
