Chip Bacon

Chip Bacon serves as the Associate Vice President for Information Security and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Norwich University, bringing extensive experience in information security and IT management. Previously, Chip held positions such as Sr Information Security Analyst and IT Systems Manager, and Information Security Engineer/Analyst at Norwich University. Prior to that, Chip worked at DuBois & King, Inc. as IT Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer, and at Hallam-ICS as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Early career experience includes a role as Analytical Technician in the Structures and Dynamics Group at Pratt & Whitney. Chip holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Norwich University and an Associate in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College.
