Gerard de Kloet

Gerard de Kloet has extensive experience in journalism and media management, currently holding the position of Chef NOS afdeling 24 uur and NOS online since January 2004 at NOS. Previously, Gerard served as plv. chef NOS 24 and Eindredacteur for NOS Online, along with heading the NOSop3 initiative focused on news content online. Prior experience includes roles at Omroep Brabant from 1995 to 2003 as a redacteur/verslaggever/presentator, where responsibilities included creating and presenting radio news items, and at Radio Netherlands in the same period as a redacteur/verslaggever for the Dutch editorial team. Gerard pursued education in Politics at Radboud University from 1997 to 2000 and studied at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997.
