Mike Chomyn

Mike Chomyn has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike started their career in 1994 as the President of Bethune College Council and later became the Editor-In-Chief at The Lexicon Newspaper in 1995. In 1996, they ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Owner of ALTA Copy & Print, where they oversaw the day-to-day operations and set strategic goals for the business. In 2016, Mike joined Not Just Tourists as the Director of Operations, where they were responsible for solving problems, ensuring smooth operations, and finding efficiencies in the packing process. Most recently, in 2018, they founded More Than Soup, a volunteer-driven initiative that delivers hot soups, snacks, and socks to those in need in Toronto.

Mike Chomyn attended York University from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Environmental Studies and Politics. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued a degree in Electrical Techniques at George Brown College.
