Richard C. Giardina

Richard Giardina is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience in higher education and accreditation. As an Independent Contractor since 2006, Richard has specialized as a Higher Education and Accreditation Consultant. Prior roles include serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Patten University and as Adjunct Associate Director for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Richard also held the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Notre Dame de Namur University. Prior to these roles, Richard spent 30 years at San Francisco State University, culminating as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. Academically, Richard earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Government from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Fordham University.
