James Szpak

James Szpak is a Senior Electromechanical Engineer at Nottingham Spirk, specializing in product development, research and development, and invention-for-hire since January 2011, working on medical, consumer, and industrial products. Previously, James held the position of Director of Engineering at Tremont Electric from November 2009 to February 2011, and served as a Project Engineer at ADS Engineering & Design, Inc. for over a decade, where consulting work included product development and R&D for notable clients such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Picker International. James is an expert in SolidWorks design, thermal and stress finite element analysis (FEA), physics modeling, circuit design, and project management. James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering & Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University from 1992 to 1996.
