Jungkwon Ahn has a range of experience in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Jungkwon served as the Chief Sustainability Officer at NOUL starting in February 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Social Auditor from April 2015 to April 2021, gaining experience in various types of social audits. Jungkwon was also a Chief Sustainability Officer at Slowalk from April 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they worked as a CSR/Social Auditor at BSI from February 2013 to March 2015. Jungkwon began their career as a Business Analyst and CSR Assessor at POSCO Research Institute from April 2011 to February 2013. Jungkwon also held roles such as Researcher at the Business Institute for Sustainable Development of Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry from January 2009 to April 2011, Non-expert Disputant at MBC 100 minutes discussion from May 2008 to November 2008, and Intern Analyst at KOCSR in August 2008. Jungkwon served as a manager at the Korea Henry George Association from August 2007 to July 2008 and as a First Lieutenant in the Korean Airforce from October 2003 to January 2007.
Jungkwon Ahn obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Korea University from 1998 to 2003. Later, from 2007 to 2009, Jungkwon Ahn pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Studies at Seoul National University. In 2007, Jungkwon Ahn also completed a non-degree certificate program in Leadership at Korea Leadership School. Additionally, Jungkwon Ahn obtained several certifications, including SA8000 Basic Auditor from Social Accountability International in August 2016, Nike Supply Chain Labor/EHS Lead Auditor from Sumerra in August 2013, and Sustainability Assurance Practitioner from AccountAbility in May 2010.
