Nuno Almeida

Nuno Almeida has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nuno is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Nourish Care Systems, where they have been since 2012. Nuno is responsible for bringing digital transformation to care teams in health and social care by providing innovative products and solutions. In addition, they are a Founding Member of the Care Software Providers Association (CASPA), starting in 2019.

Before these positions, Nuno was the Managing Partner of Almeida Consulting Ltd from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they supported over 30 companies across Europe, US, and South America in achieving ambitious growth and repositioning goals.

Prior to that, Nuno worked at Critical Software, where they held multiple roles including Business Development Director, Managing Director, and Programme Manager. Nuno was instrumental in growing the UK subsidiary from scratch and achieved significant turnover. Nuno also defined strategies for the Critical Software group, leading to consistent growth in the aerospace, defence, and transportation segments of the business.

Nuno Almeida started their career in 1998 at the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa), where they conducted applied research in device design and artificial intelligence. Nuno focused on creating human-usable systems for environmental, medical, and security applications by utilizing sensor data and advanced signal processing techniques.

Nuno's work experience showcases their expertise in developing strategies, managing teams, and driving growth in various settings.

Nuno Almeida completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra from 1998 to 2001. Nuno then pursued a Master of Science degree in Automation and Robotics from Universidade de Coimbra from 2002 to 2005.
