Rikard Papp, MBA, has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the paper and chemical industries. Rikard currently serves as the Global Marketing Director at Nouryon. Prior to this, they were the VP of Public & Governmental Affairs at Iggesund Paperboard and later held the position of Vice President of Strategy & Business Development. Rikard also served as the Head of Sales for Europe and Director of Asia Pacific & Merchants Europe at Iggesund Paperboard.
Before their time at Iggesund Paperboard, Rikard worked at International Paper, where they held several management positions. These included Regional Marketing Manager for Central, Eastern & Northern Europe and European UFS Product Manager. Rikard also served as a Printing & Converting Product Manager and Strategic Initiatives Analyst during their tenure at International Paper.
Rikard's career began at CEPIFINE, where they worked as a Market Analyst and was responsible for analyzing and distributing market data, presenting market developments to the executive committee, and leading meetings with industry experts to create market forecasts.
Throughout their career, Rikard has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, product development, sales management, and team leadership.
Rikard Papp, MBA, holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Gastronomy from Umeå University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Rikard then pursued a BA in Business Administration from Stockholm University from 2000 to 2001. Later, in 2015-2016, they attended the Stockholm School of Economics, where they successfully earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
