Graham H.

Graham H. has a diverse work experience in the field of controls engineering. Graham started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta in 2007. Later, they worked as a Consultant at Quorum Business Solutions in 2008. In 2009, they joined National Oilwell Varco as an Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineer, where they completed various design projects and worked on pressure sensors.

In 2012, Graham joined Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd. as a Controls and Automation Engineer. Their responsibilities included creating commissioning control test plans and programing algorithms for the auto-driller control system.

In 2015, they worked at Best PumpWorks as a Test Lab Engineering Supervisor, overseeing the construction of a new pump flow test facility and designing electrical schematics.

From 2016 to 2018, Graham worked as an Electrical Controls Design Engineer at Automation Technology LLC, where they designed controls systems for actuator and valve control.

In 2018, they joined Precision Drilling as an Electrical Engineer, working on the development and optimization of drilling control systems.

In 2019, Graham joined ARM Automation as a Senior Automation Engineer, where they developed PLC and HMI code for laser cutting machines.

In 2020, they founded their own company, The Hunter Consulting Company, and also worked as a Principal Controls Engineer at National Oilwell Varco. In these roles, they created controls designs and developed control systems for various industries.

Graham H. has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Controls Engineering from the University of Houston, which they obtained between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Graham H. completed their secondary education at McNally High School, graduating between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as "The Python Bible™ | Everything You Need to Program in Python" from Udemy, and professional licenses including the Professional Engineer (PE) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certifications from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
