Stephanie Rivers

Stephanie Rivers currently serves as the Quality & Patient Safety Leader at Nova Scotia Health Authority, a position held since March 2021, where responsibilities include developing province-wide Infection Prevention and Control policies and guidelines. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked as a Senior Policy and Planning Analyst within the same organization, and from September 2011 to March 2021, held the position of Public Health Inspector at Northwestern Health Unit, focusing on compliance audits and infection control projects. Stephanie's early career includes roles as a Student Public Health Inspector, Community Access Point Intern, Day Camp Leader, and various customer service positions. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Health Quality from Queen's University and multiple degrees in Human Nutrition and Public Health from St. Francis Xavier University and Cape Breton University.
