Violet D'Souza

Violet D'Souza, PhD, MS, MSc, BDS, is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Community Health and Epidemiology and Surgery at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Medicine, alongside a role as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the same institution. Additionally, Violet holds positions as a Scientific Affiliate with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, Adjunct Faculty at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Scholar at the Healthy Populations Institute, and Associate Member of the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute. Following a strong academic foundation with a Doctorate in Dentistry from McGill University and a Master's in Dental Public Health from the University of Iowa, Violet D'Souza has garnered extensive experience in population research and clinical practice, including senior roles in dental public health and restorative dentistry.
