Kelsey Young

Kelsey Young, SCMP, is a strategic sourcing professional with extensive experience in procurement across various industries. Currently serving as the Strategic Sourcing Manager at Nova Scotia Power since April 2018, Kelsey is responsible for strategic joint procurement initiatives with NSP and NB Power. Previous roles include Senior Procurement Specialist at Irving Shipbuilding, where Kelsey focused on strategic sourcing and contracting for mechanical packages, and Buyer at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, overseeing purchasing for multiple gas plants. Additional experience includes a position as Central Receiver/Buyer for Service Departments at Brews Supply. Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Dalhousie University, earned between 2006 and 2010.
