Shannon Brown Wayte

Shannon Brown Wayte, CFRE, currently serves as the Executive Director of University Advancement at Nova Southeastern University since January 2021. Previously, Shannon held the position of Chief Advancement Officer at HomeSafe Florida from December 2019 to December 2020, and served in various roles at Nova Southeastern University, including Senior Director of Development for the Health Professions Division from November 2015 to December 2019 and Director of Development for the same division prior to that. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Foundation Relations at Barry University, and Shannon also held the position of Grants Manager at Florida Grand Opera. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism from Florida Atlantic University.
