Tom Bergman

Tom Bergman has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career at Åbo Akademi University as a Research Assistant in 1999. Tom then moved on to IFS Finland in 2000, where they worked as an Application Developer, specializing in customer business process development and integrations. In 2007, they joined International Business Systems as a System Specialist, and later worked for Iptor as a System Specialist from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Tom worked at Cargotec Corporation as a Solution Expert for IFS & SAP. Tom then joined Affecto as a Project Manager for a brief period in 2013. Later that year, they joined Nordkalk Corporation as an Application Manager, responsible for the Nordkalk group's IFS ERP system and process improvement in various areas.

Since 2016, Tom has been working at Novacura, where they have held multiple roles. Tom started as the Managing Director of Novacura Finland Oy, overseeing the setup and growth of operations in Finland. Tom then transitioned into the role of Consulting Manager, where they have been involved in global IFS ERP Apps implementations and process improvement, primarily using the Novacura Flow low code platform. These roles have encompassed sales, pre-sales, project management, solution architecture, and business consulting.

Tom Bergman attended Åbo Handelsläroverk from 1993 to 1995, where they graduated with a degree in Marketing. From 1995 to 2001, they studied at Åbo Akademi University and obtained a Master of Science degree with a major in Computer Science and minors in Mathematics and Economics.
