Paula Deck

Paula Deck has a strong background in patent law and life sciences. Paula has held various positions throughout their career, including Head of Patents at Novalac Nutrition & Health, Senior Life Sciences Patent Attorney at Adocia, and Senior Life Sciences Patent Attorney at Transgene. Prior to that, they worked as a Patent & Legal Advisor at BioAssocies and as a Life Sciences Patent Attorney at BREDEMA. Paula began their career at EntoMed, a biotechnology company, where they served as a Life Sciences Patent Attorney and Legal Counsel. Paula'sexperience spans over 20 years in the industry.

Paula Deck completed their Master's degree in Biochemistry with honors from the University of Strasbourg in 1997. Paula then pursued their MSc in Molecular & Cellular Biology, also graduating with honors from the University of Strasbourg in 1998. Later, they attended the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained an International Industrial Studies Diploma in Patents with honors.
