Peng Lai

Peng Lai has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Lab. In 2007, they joined Nanochem Solutions as an Associate Group Leader in Product Development. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Consultant at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they focused on growth strategy for a software start-up and go-to-market strategy for a leading pharmaceutical company. In 2012, they interned as a Business Analyst at Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. From 2013 to 2018, they held positions at INVISTA (Koch Industries), starting as an Intern and moving up to Manager of Strategy and Finance. In 2018, they joined Georgia-Pacific LLC (Koch Industries) as a Senior Manager of Analytics and Decision Making. Currently, since 2018, Peng Lai serves as the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Novalis Innovative Flooring.

Peng Lai has a diverse education history. Peng started their academic journey in 2000 at Peking University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry. Peng completed their undergraduate studies in 2004.

Afterward, Peng Lai decided to further their education and enrolled at the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Peng dedicated three years to study Materials Science, leading to the attainment of a Master of Science degree in 2007.
