Doron Nakar

Doron Nakar has a diverse work experience across various companies. Doron is currently working as a Product Lead NPI Engineer at Nova Ltd. Prior to this, they served as an Optics discipline Product & NPI Engineer at Orbotech from 2014 to 2021. In this role, they led NPI processes, managed suppliers, and improved production yield in the optics production line. Before Orbotech, Doron worked as an R&D & Product Engineer at TIGI from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for the full technical development of products. Doron also worked as a Product & Process R&D Engineer at Siemens Energy (former Solel) from 2009 to 2012, handling the full product life cycle and representing the company in external communications. Doron began their career at Intel Corporation as a Photolithography Process Engineer from 2006 to 2009, and they started their professional journey as a Mechanical Designer (student intern) at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems from 2000 to 2002.

Doron Nakar holds a master's degree in Electro-optics from Bar-Ilan University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2022. Doron also has a master's degree in Solar Energy & Environmental Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Optics) from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Doron Nakar has also received certifications as a Physics Teacher from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006, an Advanced Open Water Diver from ACUC in 2005, and a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1998.
